The Best Afternoon Tea in Doncaster

1. The Jazz Cafe Afternoon Tea

The Jazz cafe on Printing Office Street in the city centre, is very popular in our Facebook Group and members regularly post reviews about their Afternoon Tea offering. 

They serve a selection of classic mini roll sandwiches, Yorkshire pork pies, cheese & crackers along with freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam as well as a selection of petit fours cakes and pastries. 

The price is currently £15.95pp* and includes Yorkshire Tea, Americano, Latte, Cappucino or hot chocolate. Upgrade to a glass of Prosecco for just £3.

2. The Daily Bread Afternoon Tea

The Daily bread inside Christ Church, in the city centre, offers a very substantial traditional afternoon tea with a selection of sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls, scotch eggs, quiche, cakes, scones and berries. It also includes one drink, they also offer vegan and vegetarian afternoon teas! The price is £15.99 pp* including one drink

3. The Chase Tea Rooms Afternoon Tea

The classic afternoon tea at the Chase Tea Rooms in Bawtry is a hit with our members as they quite often run a special deals for Afternoon tea on a Monday for £10pp. The normal price of £14.95pp* is still a steal though for a selection of finger sandwiches, delicious homemade cakes and a hot drink.

4. Sarah Janes Afternoon Tea

The Afternoon Tea at Sarah Janes Tea Rooms in Dunsville is a little different to the classic afternoon tea as it includes a trifle and a mini prawn cocktail, you can’t get anymore British than that! Also enjoy a selection of sandwiches including smoked salmon & cream cheese, egg mayonnaise and ham as well as the obligatory scone with clotted cream and cakes. It also includes a pot of tea.

Although the price hasn’t been updated online, our members say it now costs £15pp*.

5. The Earl of Doncaster Afternoon Tea

If the beautiful art deco surroundings don’t impress you, the Earl of Doncaster popular afternoon tea offering surely will. They have two different options of Afternoon Tea, the classic option consists of a selection of neat finger sandwiches, a plain & fruit scone with clotted cream and preserve, a black berry cheesecake, fruit cake and even more cakes! They also do a savoury option for those that want less of the sweet stuff, this includes, prepared finger sandwiches, cheese scone, red onion chutney, scotch egg, mini quiche, sausage roll, pork pie and mini cheeseboard. Both include a pot of tea or filter coffee.  The price is £20.95pp* for the classic and £21.95pp* for the savoury. They also do a children’s option and a gluten free option.
